Who Can Apply

• Must be an approved New South Wales early childhood education and care service of an eligible type: centre-based service (including long day care or community preschool) or mobile preschool. • Service must operate in one of the Statistical Area 3 trial locations: Campbelltown, Coffs Harbour, or Dubbo. • Approved provider must be a small New South Wales ECEC provider with between 1 and 6 New South Wales ECEC services. • Service must deliver an early childhood education program designed by a degree-qualified early childhood teacher in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and relevant legislation. • Must complete the application form and required self-assessment. • Application must be endorsed by the approved provider. • Must be registered, or willing and able to register, with the Early Childhood Contract Management System (ECCMS). • Must enter into and comply with a funding agreement and the program guidelines. • Must agree to participate in eligible program activities and funding uses outlined in the guidelines. • Public preschools, family day care services, and out of school hours care services cannot apply. • Services already participating in the Australian Government Business support for Community Child Care Fund grant recipients program cannot apply. • Services already participating in the New South Wales Sector Strengthening Partnership cannot apply.
To be eligible, a service must be an approved New South Wales early childhood education and care service of an eligible type: centre-based service for children up to school age including long day care or community preschool, or a mobile preschool. The service must operate in one of the Statistical Area 3 trial locations of Campbelltown, Coffs Harbour or Dubbo. The approved provider must be a small approved New South Wales ECEC provider with between 1 and 6 New South Wales ECEC services. The service must deliver an early childhood education program designed by a degree-qualified early childhood teacher in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and relevant legislation. Applicants must complete a self-assessment in the application form, obtain approved provider endorsement, be registered or willing and able to register with the Early Childhood Contract Management System, enter into and comply with a funding agreement and program guidelines, agree to participate in eligible program activities and funding uses, and satisfactorily complete the application form and self-assessment. Public preschools, family day care services and out of school hours care services are excluded. Services participating in the Australian Government Business support for Community Child Care Fund grant recipients program or the New South Wales Sector Strengthening Partnership are not eligible.
