Who Can Apply

• Must be an invited applicant listed in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines • Stream A: existing medical schools with current Australian Medical Council accreditation only • Applicants must be operated by a Table A higher education provider under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 • Stream B successful applicants must complete Australian Medical Council accreditation before 2028 student commencement
To be eligible, applicants must be one of the organisations listed in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and must have received an invitation to apply from the department. For Stream A, only existing medical schools with current Australian Medical Council accreditation and operated by a Table A higher education provider within the meaning of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 are eligible. For Stream B, only organisations operated by a Table A higher education provider within the meaning of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 are eligible. If successful in Stream B, new medical schools must complete Australian Medical Council accreditation before students commence in 2028.
