Applicants must be female founded startups, defined as majority owned and led by women, as set out in the grant opportunity guidelines. Applicants must have an active Australian Business Number and be an entity incorporated in Australia, a partnership, or a sole trader. Applications must include a signed declaration that the startup is female founded, certification that it will remain majority owned and led by women for the duration of the grant, and all mandatory attachments. Applicants seeking more than 50% grant funding, up to 70%, must provide evidence that they meet one or more additional criteria such as being headquartered in a regional area, being an Indigenous business or having an Indigenous founder, having a founder with disability, or having a founder who migrated to Australia as a refugee or humanitarian entrant. Unincorporated associations and government bodies are not eligible.
