- Equipment or technology must divert or avoid new tonnes of waste going to landfill, or for food waste complement an existing service by increasing recovery, reducing contamination or improving efficiency/costs.
- Equipment or technology must meet EPA rebate funding thresholds.
- Equipment must reside on a site in New South Wales and divert waste generated in New South Wales.
- Purchased equipment must be operated and maintained for the term of the Funding Deed.
- Leased equipment must be leased, operated and maintained for a minimum of 12 months from installation.
- Applicant must provide a minimum 50% monetary co-contribution toward purchase or lease costs.
