• Must be a small business that employs less than 20 people.
• Must be able to articulate how the Small Business Support Pool will support retention of the Back to Work employee beyond 52 weeks of continuous employment.
• Only one application is allowed per approved Back to Work employee.
• Must provide quote or quotes to the value of at least $2000.
• Must declare that the business has not received and is not eligible for similar funding from the Australian Government.
• If seeking support for workplace fit-out, must provide additional information showing ownership of the premises and/or approval to update the premises.
• Application must be submitted by the employer, not an agent or other party.
Applicants must be approved Back to Work-supported employers with an approved Back to Work application for an employee who commenced employment from 1 July 2021 and is currently employed with the business. The applicant must be a small business employing fewer than 20 people, explain how the support pool funding will help retain the employee beyond 52 weeks of continuous employment, and submit only one application per approved Back to Work employee. Employers must provide quotes totalling at least $2000, declare they have not received and are not eligible for similar Australian Government funding, provide additional evidence for workplace fit-out requests where relevant, and submit the application directly rather than through an agent or other party.
