Who Can Apply

Must have an ABN or ICN and be registered for GST. Must be an incorporated Australian entity, eligible Indigenous corporation, or incorporated trustee. Must be a trading corporation and explain how the organisation meets that definition. Must apply for a full service area and submit a separate application for each area sought.
Applicants must satisfy all eligibility criteria in the grant opportunity guidelines. To be eligible, an applicant must have an Australian Business Number or an Indigenous Corporation Number, be registered for GST, and be a trading corporation whose trading activities are a sufficiently significant proportion of its overall activities. Eligible entity types include an entity incorporated in Australia (including incorporated not-for-profit organisations, registered charities and companies limited by guarantee), an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, or an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust. Applicants may apply independently or as part of a consortium, but only the lead organisation may submit the application and enter into the agreement with the Commonwealth. Applications must address all assessment criteria and include required attachments such as a project plan, risk management plan, detailed budget, marketing strategy, and at least one reference letter. Providers must be able to deliver services across the full nominated service area and not just part of it.
