• Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) • Be an eligible Australian incorporated entity • Eligible entities include a company incorporated in Australia • Eligible entities include an incorporated not for profit organisation • Eligible entities include a Publicly Funded Research Organisation (PFRO) • Eligible entities include a Cooperative Research Centre • Eligible entities include another Australian incorporated entity • Joint applications are allowed if the lead applicant is eligible and is the main driver of the project • Must involve a Chinese primary partner that has submitted, or is submitting, a corresponding application through the relevant Chinese system • Must involve an Australian end user or industry partner that can apply the research outcomes • Maximum of two applications per applicant • Only one application per priority area • Project must involve research in a priority area
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be an eligible Australian incorporated entity, including a company incorporated in Australia, an incorporated not for profit organisation, a Publicly Funded Research Organisation (PFRO), a Cooperative Research Centre, or another Australian incorporated entity. Applications must involve a Chinese primary partner that has submitted, or is submitting, a corresponding application through the relevant Chinese system, and an Australian end user or industry partner that can apply the research outcomes. Joint applications with more than one Australian partner are permitted if the lead applicant is eligible and is the main driver of the project. A maximum of two applications is allowed per applicant and only one application per priority area. The project must involve research in a priority area.
