This Create NSW grant supports individual artists, arts and cultural workers, partnerships, groups and organisations touring arts and cultural work across regional New South Wales. Funding is available for small and large tours that improve access to diverse cultural experiences and benefit New South Wales artists, communities and audiences.

Who Can Apply

• Applicants must be 18 years or above. • Individuals must currently live in New South Wales and have done so for the past 12 months. • Partnerships, groups, unincorporated associations and organisations must be currently located in New South Wales for the past 12 months. • Local Government Authorities must be a distinct business unit based in New South Wales. • Non-New South Wales based organisations may apply, but preference is given to New South Wales-based organisations. • Applications must focus on arts and culture and directly benefit New South Wales artists, arts and cultural workers and/or New South Wales communities and audiences through arts-led activities. • Successful applicants must have an active ABN with a nominated bank account or provide details of a funds administrator. • Individuals must have a sole trader ABN or private company ABN where the individual is the sole director, or a funds administrator and nominated bank account. • Groups and unincorporated associations without legal status must be contracted by an individual or funds administrator. • Partnerships and organisations with legal status must have an ABN matching their entity name and a nominated bank account. • Applicants must contribute at least 5% from other cash or in-kind support. • The project must start after 2025-08-01 and be completed by 2027-06-30. • Applicants can only submit one application to this round. • Applicants cannot apply if they were successful in the previous round of Regional Arts Touring. • Organisations must provide a description of workplace safety and wellbeing activities and policy. • Ineligible applicants include those already funded for the same part of the tour by Create NSW or Sound NSW. • Ineligible applicants include those whose tour has already started or will start or finish before the funding period starts. • Ineligible applicants include Create NSW designated National Performing Arts Partnerships Company, State Significant Organisations and Key Festivals. • Ineligible applicants include state or federal government departments or agencies, including state cultural institutions. • Ineligible applicants include schools and educational institutions. • Ineligible activities include film, television, film festivals and contemporary music proposals. • Ineligible applicants include people employed by Create NSW or employed there in the last 12 months.

Ineligible applicants include those funded by Create NSW or Sound NSW for the same part of the tour, applicants whose tour has already started or will start or finish before the funding period, designated National Performing Arts Partnerships Company, State Significant Organisations, Key Festivals, state or federal government departments or agencies including state cultural institutions, schools and educational institutions, applicants seeking film, television, film festival or contemporary music funding, and current or recent Create NSW employees.
