Who Can Apply

• Arts and cultural organisations located in Australia can apply. • Local government authorities located in New South Wales can apply. • Applicants must have an active ABN. • Applicants must have a bank account with the same name as their ABN. • Applications must focus on arts and culture. • Applications must directly benefit New South Wales artists, arts and cultural workers and/or New South Wales communities through arts-led activities. • Only one application may be submitted to this round, except local government authorities with multiple business units must apply separately for each business unit. • Projects must start no earlier than 2025-01-01. • Projects must end no later than 2025-12-31. • Funding requests must not be 100% of program costs. • At least 5% of program costs must come from other sources, including in-kind support. • Organisations previously funded by Create NSW for the same activities cannot apply. • Organisations whose activities have already started or will start or finish before the funding period cannot apply. • Create NSW designated national performing arts partnerships companies, state significant organisations and key festivals cannot apply. • State or federal government departments or agencies, including state cultural institutions, cannot apply. • Schools and educational institutions cannot apply. • Individuals or organisations seeking funding for films, TV shows or film festivals cannot apply. • Preference may be given to New South Wales-based organisations.
