Who Can Apply

• Applicants may be individuals or groups, provided the individual or all group members are emerging/early career visual artists • Applicants must be 18 years or above • Applicants must have resided in New South Wales over the last 12 months • Applicants must meet ABN requirements • Incorporated entity, company and trust ABNs will not be accepted • For group applications, an individual must submit on behalf of the group • Group members included in a group application cannot submit separate applications to the fellowship • Organisations cannot apply • Previous shortlisted applicants or successful recipients of the NSW Visual Arts Fellowship (Emerging) cannot apply • Proposed professional development activities must not already be taking place or be completed • Current Create NSW employees, or people employed by Create NSW within the last 12 months, cannot apply
Applicants must be individuals or groups of emerging/early career visual artists, with each individual or all group members aged 18 or over and residing in New South Wales for the last 12 months. Applicants must meet ABN requirements; incorporated entity, company and trust ABNs are not accepted for this fellowship. Groups must apply through an individual on behalf of the group. Applicants cannot be organisations, previous shortlisted applicants or prior recipients of this fellowship, people whose proposed activities are already underway or completed, or current/recent Create NSW employees within the last 12 months.
