Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a small to medium not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation located in New South Wales for the last 12 months • Applicant must have annual turnover greater than $30,000 in the most recent financial year • Applicant organisation must apply as the lead partner in the collaboration • Arts and cultural focused Local Government Authority business units are eligible • Organisations may be incorporated or unincorporated associations • Project must be a clearly defined arts and cultural activity benefiting individual New South Wales artists or arts and cultural workers • Project must involve collaboration with a creative industries partner organisation currently working in the creative industries • Creative industries partner may be based in New South Wales, interstate or internationally • Applicant must contribute at least 20% of project costs through cash or in-kind support • Project must take place between 2025-07-01 and 2026-06-30 • Individuals cannot apply • Organisations outside New South Wales cannot apply • Schools and educational institutions cannot apply • Organisations without a clearly defined arts and cultural focus cannot apply • Organisations previously funded by Create NSW or Sound NSW for the same part of the project cannot apply • Projects that have already started are ineligible • Key Festivals, State Significant Organisations and National Performing Arts Partnership Organisations are ineligible • Organisations may submit only one application to this funding round • Applicant organisation cannot have a primary focus on contemporary music, filmmaking, screen production, mainstream animation, digital games or film festivals • The creative industries partner organisation cannot be the applicant
Applicants must be a small to medium not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation located in New South Wales for the last 12 months, with annual turnover in the most recent financial year greater than $30,000. The applicant must be the lead partner in the collaboration. Recipients of 2024/25 Annual Program Funding, Project Funding and Multi-Year Funding are eligible to apply. Arts and cultural focused Local Government Authority business units are eligible. Organisations may be incorporated or unincorporated associations, although unincorporated associations must provide additional information if successful. The project must be a clearly defined arts and cultural activity benefiting individual New South Wales artists or arts and cultural workers, and must involve collaboration with a creative industries partner organisation that is currently working in the creative industries. The project must take place between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026. Applicants must contribute at least 20% from other cash or in-kind support. Ineligible applicants include individuals; organisations outside New South Wales; schools and educational institutions; organisations without a clearly defined arts and cultural focus; organisations funded before by Create NSW or Sound NSW for the same part of the project; organisations that have already started their project; Key Festivals, State Significant Organisations and National Performing Arts Partnership Organisations; organisations that have already submitted an application to this funding round; organisations whose primary focus is contemporary music, filmmaking, screen production, mainstream animation, digital games or film festivals; and cases where the creative industries partner organisation is the applicant.
