2-Year Multi-year Funding provides core investment to eligible New South Wales arts and cultural organisations and local government authorities to support sustainable growth, innovative artistic content and positive social outcomes. In 2025, successful applicants receive funding for a two-year period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027.

Who Can Apply

• Be based in New South Wales unless approved by the Director, Arts, Create NSW in exceptional circumstances. • Be a not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation, service organisation or local government authority with a primary purpose of arts and cultural activity. • Have an ABN. • Have operated as a legally constituted entity delivering arts, cultural or creative programs or services for at least 1 year at the time of application. • Address and deliver on at least one Arts and Cultural Funding Program priority. • Include an independent financial contribution of at least 20% of the grant application, including in-kind. • Have annual turnover greater than $30000 in the most recent financial year. • If working with First Nations artists or communities, adhere to Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property policies and Create NSW Aboriginal Cultural Protocols. • Funding request must not be more than 80% of program costs. • Funding request must allocate 10% of per annum funding to support collaboration. • Cannot be a for-profit organisation. • Cannot be a sole trader. • Cannot already have Create NSW Arts and Cultural Funding Program funding for the same period. • Cannot have a primary focus on filmmaking, screen production, mainstream animation, digital games, film festivals or contemporary music. • Cannot be an educational institution. • Cannot be a state or federal government department or agency.
Applicants must be based in New South Wales unless specifically approved by the Director, Arts, Create NSW in exceptional circumstances; be a not-for-profit arts and cultural organisation, service organisation or local government authority with a primary purpose of arts and cultural activity; have an active ABN; have operated as a legally constituted entity delivering arts, cultural or creative programs or services for at least one year at the time of application; be able to address at least one Arts and Cultural Funding Program priority; include an independent financial contribution of at least 20% including in-kind; and have annual turnover greater than $30,000 in the most recent financial year. Funding requests must not exceed 80% of program costs and must allocate 10% of per annum funding to collaboration. Ineligible applicants include for-profit organisations, sole traders, educational institutions, state or federal government departments or agencies, national performing arts partnership organisations, organisations primarily focused on screen, contemporary music, competitions, awards or fundraising, organisations with turnover below $30,000, and organisations already funded by Create NSW for the same period.
