Who Can Apply

• Practices and providers must satisfy all eligibility criteria in Section 2 of the Guidelines. • All eligibility requirements must be met concurrently within an incentive assessment period. • Practices must bulk bill every eligible MBS service for all Medicare-eligible patients. • Registration in BBPIP counts as the application and registrations open from 1 November 2025.
Section 2 of the Guidelines sets out eligibility requirements for practices and providers wanting to participate in BBPIP. All eligibility requirements must be met concurrently within an incentive assessment period for the practice or provider to be eligible for payment. Incentive payments cannot be made if practices and all providers do not jointly satisfy all the eligibility criteria. Participating practices must bulk bill every eligible MBS service for all their Medicare-eligible patients to receive the incentive payment.
