Who is eligible for the Anzac Day Proceeds Fund?
- Application must be submitted by an eligible organisation
- Organisation must not have outstanding reports from previous or current grants funded via the department
- Funding must be sought for an eligible activity
- Organisation must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), or written Australian Taxation Office advice that no withholding tax is required
- Organisation must generally be incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001, Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, or equivalent legislation
- Unincorporated organisations may apply through an auspice arrangement
- Unincorporated government entities such as local councils may be eligible
- Social enterprises may be eligible if their mission specifically relates to the welfare and wellbeing of veterans and they meet stated social enterprise criteria
- Organisation must demonstrate that its principal objective is to provide welfare or wellbeing services or supports to the ex-service community in Victoria
- Organisation must be financially solvent
- Organisation must be based in Australia
- Funded projects must be delivered in Victoria
- Ineligible applicants include state and federal government departments
- Ineligible applicants include individuals and sole traders
- Ineligible applicants include public companies limited by shares unless not-for-profit status can be proven
- Ineligible applicants include commercial enterprises
- Ineligible applicants include registered primary and secondary schools, pre-schools, TAFE institutes and universities as direct applicants
- Ineligible applicants include organisations that have failed to comply with previous departmental grant terms
- Ineligible applicants include groups whose projects are the responsibility of another Victorian Government department
- Ineligible applicants include hospitals and health service organisations
