Who Can Apply

• Individuals and eligible organisations may apply, including Ex-Service Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit community organisations, New South Wales local councils, eligible not-for-profit companies, Indigenous Corporations, New South Wales Local Aboriginal Land Councils, religious organisations, government agencies, schools and educational institutions. • Applicants must possess an Australian Business Number (ABN) or provide Australian Taxation Office advice that no withholding tax is required. • Applicants must be financially solvent. • Applicants must be based in Australia and the project must be of direct and substantial relevance to New South Wales. • Applicants must have acquitted all previously awarded ACGP grants. • Applicants who have received ACGP funding for three consecutive years are ineligible in the subsequent fourth year. • Applications must align with one of the program categories: historical research and education, preservation and display of memorabilia, public commemorative events, or support for the New South Wales veteran community. • Projects must not have already started or been completed. • Projects must not be capital works or commercial for-profit activities. • Funding cannot be used for existing debts, budget deficits, permanent salaries or duplicate funding for the same project.
Eligible applicants are individuals and certain organisations including Ex-Service Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit community organisations, New South Wales local councils, incorporated not-for-profit bodies approved by NSW Fair Trading, not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee registered in New South Wales with ACNC registration and/or DGR status, Indigenous Corporations registered with ORIC, New South Wales Local Aboriginal Land Councils, religious organisations operating in New South Wales, New South Wales non-government organisations established under their own Act of Parliament, New South Wales Government agencies including government schools, and educational institutions. Applicants must possess an ABN or provide Australian Taxation Office advice that no withholding tax is required, be financially solvent, be based in Australia with projects of direct and substantial relevance to New South Wales, and have acquitted all previously awarded ACGP grants. Applicants who have received ACGP funding for three consecutive years are ineligible in the subsequent fourth year. Projects must align with one of the program categories and must not have already started or finished, be capital works, be commercial for-profit projects, pay existing debt or deficits, pay permanent salaries or wages, or duplicate funding for the same project.
