Who Can Apply

• Must operate an eligible business connected to Victoria's alpine resort economy • On-mountain stream applicants must operate within a Victorian alpine resort or Dinner Plain • On-mountain stream business categories include food and beverage venues, retail outlets, visitor service businesses, or accommodation businesses with a public on-site food and beverage venue or retail outlet • Off-mountain stream applicants must be located in Alpine Shire, Mansfield Shire, Murrindindi Shire, Baw Baw Shire, or East Gippsland Shire • Off-mountain stream primary activity must be snow equipment rental, winter tours, or bus transfers related to a Victorian alpine resort • Businesses can only receive funding from one stream and cannot receive both On-mountain and Off-mountain grants • Employing businesses in the On-mountain stream are identified as registered with WorkSafe Victoria
For the On-mountain and Dinner Plain stream, applicants must operate a business within a Victorian alpine resort or Dinner Plain in one of the following categories: a food and beverage venue; a retail outlet; a business providing services directly to visitors or contributing to the visitor experience; or an accommodation business with a public on-site food and beverage venue or retail outlet. For the Off-mountain stream, businesses must be located within Alpine Shire, Mansfield Shire, Murrindindi Shire, Baw Baw Shire or East Gippsland Shire, and their primary activity must be rental of snow equipment for use within a Victorian alpine resort, winter tours within a Victorian alpine resort, or bus transfers to, from and within a Victorian alpine resort. Businesses can only receive a grant for either the On-mountain or Off-mountain stream and cannot receive funding from both streams.
