Who Can Apply

Must be a legal entity established in Australia and a South Australia business or not-for-profit. Must have an active ABN from 2025-01-01 and be GST-registered from 2025-07-22. Must have Australia-wide grouped payroll under 1500000 in 2024-25 and operate in an eligible impacted marine industry category. Must show at least 18750 turnover in the 3-month comparative period and a turnover decline of 30% or more.
To be eligible, applicants must be a legal entity established in Australia, be a South Australia entity including businesses and not-for-profits, have an active Australian Business Number as at 2025-01-01, be registered for goods and services tax as at 2025-07-22, have an Australia-wide grouped payroll of less than $1.5 million in 2024-25, and be primarily categorised in one or more impacted marine industry categories. Eligible categories include marine or coastal tourism operators excluding hospitality and food services, charter boat and fishing charter operators, marine-based sport and/or schools, commercial fisheries and aquaculture licence holders, seafood processors, marine and fishing supply chain manufacturers or retailers, marine or coastal caravan parks, camping grounds and other accommodation providers excluding short-term private or holiday rental providers, and beachfront kiosks or cafes. Applicants must also demonstrate minimum turnover of $18,750 in the 3-month comparative period and a decline in turnover of 30% or more using the comparative period.
