Who Can Apply

• Applicant must have been invited by the grantee to submit an application • Applicant's research focus must be primarily alcohol and other drugs research • Applicant must be fully located in New South Wales • Applicant must be not-for-profit • Applicant must be, or be part of a parent organisation that is, a legal entity • Applicant or parent organisation must have capacity to contract • Joint ventures, consortia or collaborations must include applicant information for each member and specify liability and contracting arrangements • Legal entities may include a Local Health District, Specialty Health Network, university, or independently constituted medical research institute • Discrete, separately identifiable units within eligible organisations may apply • Collaborations must be genuine ongoing ventures and demonstrably present and separately identifiable since July 2017 • Individuals or groups of individuals cannot apply • Unincorporated organisations cannot apply • For-profit commercial organisations cannot apply • Applicants partially or wholly located outside New South Wales cannot apply
Applications are only eligible if the applicant was invited to apply, has a primary research focus on alcohol and other drugs, is fully located in New South Wales, is not-for-profit, and is or is part of a parent organisation that is a legal entity with capacity to contract. Eligible legal entities may include a Local Health District, Specialty Health Network, university, or independently constituted medical research institute. Applicants may also be discrete, separately identifiable units within eligible organisations, or genuine collaborations that have been demonstrably present and separately identifiable since July 2017. Individuals, groups of individuals, unincorporated organisations, for-profit commercial organisations, and applicants partially or wholly located outside New South Wales cannot apply.
