Who is eligible for the Alcohol and other Drug Treatment Access Expansion Grants?
- Applicant must be a not-for-profit non-government entity incorporated under Australian legislation.
- Eligible incorporation pathways include Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW), Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Cooperatives Act 1992 (NSW), or Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006.
- Applicant must hold current accreditation against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for organisations delivering alcohol and other drug treatment services.
- At least one partner organisation or consortium member (if relevant) must have at least three years experience providing community-based alcohol and other drug treatment services.
- Services must be delivered in New South Wales.
- Proposed services must not already be funded by NSW Health or another government agency, except where funding is for expanded services.
- The relevant Local Health District must provide in-principle support.
- Individuals cannot apply.
- Government entities cannot apply.
- For-profit organisations cannot apply.
- Service providers seeking to cover budget shortfalls in existing services cannot apply.
