Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a not-for-profit non-government entity incorporated under Australian legislation. • Eligible incorporation pathways include Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW), Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Cooperatives Act 1992 (NSW), or Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006. • Applicant must hold current accreditation against NSW Health approved accreditation standards for organisations delivering alcohol and other drug treatment services. • At least one partner organisation or consortium member (if relevant) must have at least three years experience providing community-based alcohol and other drug treatment services. • Services must be delivered in New South Wales. • Proposed services must not already be funded by NSW Health or another government agency, except where funding is for expanded services. • The relevant Local Health District must provide in-principle support. • Individuals cannot apply. • Government entities cannot apply. • For-profit organisations cannot apply. • Service providers seeking to cover budget shortfalls in existing services cannot apply.
