Who is eligible for the Airservices Australia Enroute Charges Payment Scheme?
- Applicant must be an airline operating eligible commercial passenger or aeromedical services.
- For commercial passenger services, the airline must hold a current Australian air transport Air Operator’s Certificate authorising scheduled air transport operations on the route and aircraft type.
- Charter services are not eligible; services must be scheduled air transport operations.
- The route must be to or from a regional or remote location as defined by the Australian Standard Geographical Classification.
- The route must be serviced by a single operator.
- The route must have no more than 15,000 passenger movements per annum.
- The route must not otherwise receive a subsidy for flight costs from any level of government.
- The proposed route must demonstrate economic and/or social impact on the community.
- The aircraft used on the route must have a maximum take-off weight of 15,000 kg or less.
- For aeromedical services, the airline must demonstrate engagement as a contracted aeromedical provider.
- For aeromedical services, the airline must hold an Air Operator’s Certificate authorising these services.
- Aeromedical services must use aircraft listed on the airline's Air Operator’s Certificate for this purpose.
- Aeromedical aircraft must have a maximum take-off weight of 15,000 kg or less.
- Aeromedical services must be anticipated to include services to or from a regional or remote location.
