Who Can Apply

• Applicant must have an Australian Business Number (ABN). • Applicant must be registered for GST. • Eligible entity types are: company incorporated in Australia, incorporated association or co-operative, legally binding incorporated partnership, incorporated trustee of an Australian-based trust, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation. • Applicant must provide the most recent 2 years of financial statements to demonstrate financial viability. • Applicant must hold or commit to obtaining public liability insurance of at least $20 million per occurrence before executing a funding deed. • Applicant must be a fit and proper person or legal entity. • Applicant must not be insolvent, bankrupt or subject to ongoing legal proceedings. • Applicant must declare they are not aware of issues that could cause reputational or other risks to the NSW Government. • Project must be located in an eligible regional New South Wales area, the Unincorporated Far West region, or Lord Howe Island. • Projects in the Sydney metropolitan area are ineligible. • Applicants may submit a maximum of one application. • Applicant must provide a cash co-contribution of at least 50% of total project cost. • Required co-contribution must be available at the time of application. • Individuals, sole traders, unincorporated associations, and Australian or New South Wales Government agencies, state owned corporations, or statutory authorities cannot apply.

Projects must be located in one of the 95 regional New South Wales local government areas, the Unincorporated Far West region or Lord Howe Island, and projects in the Sydney metropolitan area are ineligible. Eligible applicants must contribute at least 50% of total project costs as cash and this contribution must be available at the time of application.
