Advanced Operational Support - Phase 3 assists Local Water Utilities to manage substantial drinking water quality risks and challenges. It provides on-site assessment, technical support and training to optimise existing water treatment plant infrastructure, improve workplace health and safety, and extend asset life.

Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a regionally based organisation responsible for water supply services. • Applicant must be either a local council under the Local Government Act 1993 providing water supply and/or sewerage services under Section 56, or a water supply authority under the Water Management Act 2000. • The nominated water treatment plant must not have been formally supported previously under the Advanced Operational Support program. • The nominated water treatment plant must have been assigned, or be eligible to be assigned, a water quality risk score under the Safe and Secure Water Program Eligible Risks and Issues List. • Each eligible applicant may nominate up to two water treatment plants. • Metropolitan Local Water Utilities are not funded.

Each eligible applicant may nominate up to two water treatment plants. Metropolitan Local Water Utilities are not funded.
