Organisation must demonstrate strong Victorian education system and Health and Physical Education expertise. Must have capability in professional development, stakeholder engagement, project management, and data monitoring. Must comply with Local Jobs First policy and Victorian Funding Guideline for Services to Children. Application must include incorporation/company registration, ACN/ABN, insurance, financial and governance documentation.
Eligible applicants are organisations able to deliver the Active Schools Expert Support Service in Victoria. Applicants and/or their workforce must demonstrate extensive understanding of the Victorian education system; ability to connect school-wide health promotion principles with the Victorian Curriculum, particularly Health and Physical Education; knowledge of whole-school approaches to student health and wellbeing; expertise in tailored professional development and capacity building for school staff; experience in resource development; ability to support evidence-based and inclusive physical activity opportunities; extensive knowledge of and connectedness with sport, active recreation and health sector organisations; stakeholder engagement and partnership-building capability; project management expertise; successful delivery within scope and timeframe; expertise in data collection, monitoring and analysis; and clear organisational alignment with Active Schools. Applicants must also comply with Local Jobs First policy requirements and the Victorian Funding Guideline for Services to Children. Required application documents include incorporation or company registration, ACN/ABN details, insurance, financial statements, risk accreditation, asset register, child safety policies and checks, privacy systems, emergency management procedures, and a complaints handling system.
