• Organisation must demonstrate extensive understanding of the Victorian education system. • Organisation must be able to connect school-wide health promotion principles with the Victorian Curriculum, particularly Health and Physical Education. • Organisation must have knowledge of whole-school approaches to improving student health and wellbeing and building supportive school environments for physical activity. • Organisation must have expertise in delivering tailored professional development and capacity building to school staff. • Organisation must have experience in resource development, including case studies showing program impact. • Organisation must be able to support schools to implement high-quality, evidence-based and inclusive physical activity opportunities. • Organisation must have extensive knowledge of and connectedness with sport, active recreation and health sector organisations. • Organisation must demonstrate stakeholder engagement and partnership-building capability. • Organisation must have capacity to effectively project manage service delivery. • Organisation must have a track record of successful project delivery within agreed scope and timeframe. • Organisation must have expertise in data collection, monitoring and analysis. • Organisation must show clear alignment between Active Schools and its strategic objectives. • Organisation must comply with the Local Jobs First policy. • Organisation must comply with the Victorian Funding Guideline for Services to Children. • Application must include required documents such as incorporation or company registration, ACN/ABN details, insurance, annual report and financial statements, risk accreditation, asset register, child safety policies, privacy systems, emergency procedures and complaints handling system.
Eligible applicants are organisations able to deliver the Active Schools Expert Support Service in Victoria. Applicants must demonstrate extensive understanding of the Victorian education system; ability to connect school-wide health promotion principles with the Victorian Curriculum, especially Health and Physical Education; knowledge of whole-school approaches to student health and wellbeing; expertise in tailored professional development and capacity building for school staff; experience in resource development; ability to support evidence-based and inclusive physical activity opportunities; extensive knowledge of and connections with sport, active recreation and health sector organisations; stakeholder engagement and partnership-building capability; project management capability; successful delivery within scope and timeframe; expertise in data collection, monitoring and analysis; and clear alignment between Active Schools and the organisation's strategic objectives. Applicants must also comply with the Local Jobs First policy and the Victorian Funding Guideline for Services to Children.
