Who Can Apply

• Must have an active Australian Business Number and be incorporated in Australia or be a State or Territory Government agency or body. • Must apply as a joint application with at least one project partner and an eligible lead applicant. • Project must establish a clean hydrogen industrial hub in regional Australia and have at least 60000000 in eligible expenditure. • Individuals, partnerships, Commonwealth entities, unincorporated associations, and organisations on the National Redress Scheme exclusion list are not eligible as lead applicants.
To be eligible, applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be either an entity incorporated in Australia or an Australian State or Territory Government agency or body. Applications must be joint applications with at least one project partner, and the lead organisation must be eligible to apply and manage the project on behalf of the consortium. Applicants must certify that their board, or chief executive officer or equivalent if there is no board, supports the project, and that they can complete the project and meet costs not covered by grant funding. Applicants must agree to publicly share knowledge and information about and resulting from the project and comply with Australian Industry Participation requirements. For implementation grants, the project must be aimed at establishing a hydrogen industrial hub in regional Australia and have at least 60000000 in eligible expenditure. Ineligible applicants include individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, organisations not included in section 4.1 of the guidelines, corporate or non-corporate Commonwealth entities, and organisations or project partners listed on the National Redress Scheme list of institutions that have not joined or signified intent to join the scheme. Local government entities are not eligible as lead applicants but may participate as project partners in a joint application.
