Who is eligible for the Aboriginal Sustainable Funding Program?
- Must be one of the 17 successful recipients from the 2022 Aboriginal Languages Community Investments Program
- Must be located in New South Wales and/or deliver services to communities within New South Wales
- Must hold public liability insurance of at least $10 million per claim
- Eligible entities include Aboriginal corporations, Australian incorporated companies, local Aboriginal land councils, incorporated cooperatives, incorporated trustees, and unincorporated groups with an eligible auspicing organisation
- Must provide letters of support from, or evidence of consultation with, Aboriginal Community representatives
- Individuals are not eligible
- Federal and state government agencies and bodies are not eligible
- Local councils are not eligible
- Schools, universities, TAFE, and adult and community education providers are not eligible
- For-profit organisations, including Aboriginal businesses, are not eligible
- Unincorporated organisations without an eligible auspicing organisation are not eligible
- Organisations with unmet acquittal or reporting requirements for relevant funding in the previous two years are not eligible
