Who Can Apply

• Eligible applicants include Aboriginal corporations registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth) • Eligible applicants include companies incorporated in Australia under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) • Eligible applicants include local Aboriginal land councils established under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (NSW) • Eligible applicants include incorporated cooperatives • Eligible applicants include incorporated trustees on behalf of a trust • Eligible applicants include unincorporated groups with an agreement with an eligible organisation to auspice the funding • Applicants must be located in New South Wales and/or deliver services to communities within New South Wales • Applicants must have public liability insurance of at least $10000000 per claim • Individuals cannot apply • Federal and state government agencies and bodies cannot apply • Local councils cannot apply • Schools, universities, TAFE, and Adult and Community Education providers cannot apply • For-profit organisations, including Aboriginal businesses, cannot apply • Unincorporated organisations or groups without an eligible auspicing organisation cannot apply • Organisations that have not met acquittal or reporting requirements for relevant prior funding in the previous two years cannot apply • Organisations with redress sanctions under the National Redress Scheme cannot apply

Applicants must be located in New South Wales and/or deliver services to communities within New South Wales, and must hold public liability insurance of at least $10 million per claim. Ineligible applicants include individuals, federal and state government agencies and bodies, local councils, schools, universities, TAFE and Adult and Community Education providers, for-profit organisations including Aboriginal businesses, unincorporated groups without an eligible auspice, organisations with unmet project acquittal or reporting requirements from relevant prior funding in the previous two years, and organisations with redress sanctions under the National Redress Scheme.
