Who Can Apply

• Applicant must be a New South Wales-based Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS), Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO), or Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) • Applicants may partner with universities, research institutes or other organisations • The AMS/ACCHO/ACCO must be the lead applicant and funding recipient • The AMS/ACCHO/ACCO must retain leadership and governance of the project • Projects delivered outside New South Wales are not eligible • Capital purchases exceeding $10,000 are not eligible • Salaries for ongoing clinical service positions are not eligible, except gap funding and backfilling • Cash-based participation incentives are not eligible • Administration or overhead fees are not eligible • Formal research implementation activities are not eligible • Laboratory-based or clinical trials research is not eligible
Eligible applicants are New South Wales-based Aboriginal Medical Services (AMS), Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHO), and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO). Applicants may partner with universities, research institutes or other organisations, but the AMS, ACCHO or ACCO must be the lead applicant and funding recipient and must retain leadership and governance of the project. Projects delivered outside New South Wales are not eligible. Funding cannot be used for capital purchases exceeding $10,000, salaries for ongoing clinical service positions (except gap funding and backfilling), cash-based participation incentives, administration or overhead fees, formal research implementation activities such as participant recruitment, data collection or intervention delivery, or laboratory-based or clinical trials research.
